About Our Business

Capital Veterinary Clinic is a full-service state-of-the-art veterinary hospital
that operates as a walk-in clinic.  No appointments are necessary except for
surgical appointments.  Surgeries are performed Monday through Friday
with most surgical patients going home on the same day.
Hours of
operation appear on the Contact Us page.  The majority of our clients are
dog and cat owners; however, we still have many equine clients and have
started seeing some exotic species such as chinchillas, rabbits, ferrets,
sugar gliders, and hedgehogs.   The clinic has been in operation since
1978 when Dr. Sanders established the clinic at its present location.  We
pride ourselves on providing excellent veterinary care at an affordable price.
The staff of Capital Veterinary Clinic are
highly trained, highly motivated, and
genuinely care about the welfare of our
clients and their animals.  Many of the staff
are seeking advanced degrees either in
veterinary medicine or as registered
veterinary technicians.  Our staff's
experience varies from emergency
medicine to zoo medicine.  Our staff is
dedicated to customer service and
attention to detail.
