Dr. Curtis Sanders founded
Capital Veterinary Clinic in 1978.
The hospital was at the edge of
town and catered to the local
rural population.  Dr. Sanders
brings his years of experience
to the mix.  His charismatic
personality has made him
well liked and well respected.  Dr. Sanders is married to
Susanne Sanders.  They have two daughters, Sasha and
Teal, and one son, Zack.  Dr. Sanders is currently
experiencing empty nest syndrome as both his daughters
are recently married and his son is in his  junior year at
Baylor University.
Dr. Scroggs received his undergraduate degree from the
University of Texas, where he met his wife, Mia Leigh
Scroggs.  She is a freelance editor and mom to their
six-year-old twin daughters and a two- year-old son.

is married to Chuck Kimbrough, former district attorney of
Caldwell County.  Th
ey have a son Clay who has recently
graduated from Texas A&M and will start law school this Fall.
 Thei
r daughter, Sarah, is following in her parents footsteps
by attending Texas A&M where she is studying Russian and
international business
.
Dr. Elaine Kimbrough graduated
from Texas A&M Vet School in
1977, the same year as Dr.
Sanders.  Dr. Kimbrough has
practiced at several clinics
around the area before she
found a home at Capital
Veterinary Clinic.  Dr. Kimbrough
Dr. Matt Scroggs is the newest
addition to the clinic.  Dr.
Scroggs was formerly a
technician at Capital Veterinary
Clinic before going to Texas
A&M Vet School.  Dr. Scroggs
graduated in 2001 and returned
 to Capital Vet as a veterinarian.
